Back by popular demand, it’s a Zoomin’ birthday party for Emily Dickinson!

Houghton Library's 7th annual bash celebrates America’s cherished poet and the people she’s inspired. We’ve invited a roster of distinguished artists to share their favorite Dickinson poems and tell us how they’ve been influenced by Miss Emily:

• Rosanna Bruno, artist and author of The Slanted Life of Emily Dickinson
• Ana Paula Cordeiro, photographer and visual artist
• Sophie Herxheimer, poet and multi-disciplinary artist
• Craig Hella Johnson, composer, singer, and conductor
• Emily Lau, composer and singer
• Tracy K. Smith, Harvard faculty and U.S. Poet Laureate, 2017-2019

We encourage audience members to share their own stories and artwork in an open mic session after the formal program.
