Beit Venezia invited eight international Jewish artists to design a New Venice Haggadah after a full immersion in the city, and a residency at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica.

'This 3 week residency in the heart of Venice, involved working with a small group of artists on creating a series of etchings to illustrate a commemorative Haggadah. Our lead artist, Jacqueline Nicholls, had organised this project in collaboration with Shaul Bassi, of Beit Venezia. It was amazing to work intensely in a city so famous for its art, culture, tourism... we studied together, visited the ghetto, synagogues, museums, and came together to form a dynamic printmaking team.'
